- Lobbying & Campaigning for individuals during an election (door knocking, putting up signs etc...)
- Petitioning for changes with important issues
- Organizing rallies or community events
- Attending local meetings with elected representatives or to help make decisions
- Contacting elected representatives with questions & concerns
- VOTING in all elections to ensure their voice is heard - using their democratic right

- Respond to constituent concerns (by email, phone call etc...)
- Participate in local events (festivals, pancake breakfasts etc...)
- Represent constituents and express their concerns in government meetings
- Many elected officials send out newsletters with updates and information for their consituents
